Laura Costamagna has worked at the ITC-ILO
for the past ten years. She is in charge of administrative and financial
support for projects financed by the European Social Fund. She is also involved
in the organization, monitoring and evaluation of training activities on campus
and at a distance.
Laura holds a Master’s degree in political economy of development, obtained
at the School of Oriental
and African Studies (SOAS) of the University
of London, and a degree in
sociology from the University of Rome.
Germana Peretti joined the International Training Centre of the ILO in July
1980, and worked initially for the Individual Fellowships Programme (1980-1994)
and the Regional Programme for Africa, where she
concentrated on French-speaking countries (1994-2000).
She joined the Enterprise Development Programme in January 2000, again
focusing on francophone Africa. She currently works
mainly on training activities for Europe, especially
Russian-speaking countries. She has studied law at the University
Peter Tomlinson has
nineteen years’ experience in the field of enterprise development, including
long-term projects in Latin America, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. He has managed the Centre’s Enterprise
Development Programme since 1999. He specializes in entrepreneurship,
microfinance, business development services and creating an enabling business
environment for small enterprises. He holds a Master’s degree in development
administration and planning from Bristol University (1995), a degree in economics and accounting (1975) and is a chartered
accountant (1978). He has also worked extensively on enterprise development
projects for the International Labour Organization, the European Commission and
the UK’s Department for International Development.
Monica Rossi Rizzi’s career at the ITC-ILO
started in 1992, when she joined a European Union training programme concerning
the European Social Fund (ESF). She went on
to run an EU-funded programme on ESF
governance for Italian and EU officials. Monica is now in charge of management
and coordination of ESF programmes and
projects concerning the Lisbon
She graduated in law, with specialization in labour law, from the University
of Turin in 1991. She was called to
the Bar in 1996.
